Too often, seniors and their families are forced into crisis mode when care is needed without a plan in place. This course explores long-term care through the lens of the healthcare delivery system, highlighting which medical plans cover which services, how care is delivered, and how families typically pay for it. We’ll also touch briefly on Veterans’ benefits and discuss how agents can guide families toward planning ahead of need.
