Join us for a 1-hour CE Course Lunch & Learn with Stan & Marcia Israel of Stan Israel Insurance Services. This educational session focuses on Long‑Term Care (LTC) Insurance and how it fits into today’s healthcare delivery system.
During this session, we will cover:
- How long-term care works and what it truly covers
- Where care is provided and who delivers it
- What Medicare and Medi‑Cal cover—and what they do not
- An overview of Veterans’ benefits
- Common ways long-term care is funded
- How agents can help families create proactive long-term care plans
For Medicare agents, understanding the fundamentals of Long‑Term Care Insurance strengthens your role as a trusted advisor in senior health and care planning—even for clients who may not ultimately purchase coverage.
Too often, seniors and their families are forced into crisis mode when care is needed without a plan in place. This course explores long-term care through the lens of the healthcare delivery system, highlighting which medical plans cover which services, how care is delivered, and how families typically pay for it. We’ll also touch briefly on Veterans’ benefits and discuss how agents can guide families toward planning ahead of need.
A brief overview of marketing strategies and product insights will follow the accredited course hour.
Lunch will be provided.
